'Crime' Cracked By CSI Kids

Elementary students in Pendleton County got hands-on training this week in what it takes to be a CSI. Instructors from the Department Of Criminal Justice out of Richmond set up different mock crime scenes at the Phillip Sharp Elementary School in Butler. The students applied the math and science skills they learned in the classroom earlier in the week to the mock crime scenes they investigated in the field. They checked for fingerprints, blood splatters and ballistics just like real investigators. The weeklong program was made possible after two district teachers applied for a state grant.

Fox Back For More 'CSI'

Actress Jorja Fox is heading back to "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," just months after quitting the show.

The star, who plays Sara Sidle on the hit series, walked away from the show last fall, but she is now set to return for the third episode of the upcoming series.

Confirming the news to TV Guide magazine, Fox says, "The kindest thing that the writers did for Sara Sidle was to walk her out (of the show) in one piece.

"I had an amazing, beautiful, honorable, dignified exit."

And she's thrilled she'll be back among her cast members: "I miss the people. When I left in October, it was so decisive -- everybody got me a good-bye cake.

"(But) it's a surprise for me to be back, especially this soon"
